At YARA, your privacy is important to us.
1. Information We Collect

- Account details — your email address and sign-in information
- Profile information — your name, wardrobe preferences, and optional profession
- Wardrobe content — photos and details of clothing you add
- Location — city or area you choose, if you provide it
- Usage information — how you interact with outfit suggestions and app features
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and deliver outfit suggestions from your wardrobe
- To provide weather-aware recommendations for your area
- To send optional reminders and tips you have turned on
- To operate, maintain, and improve YARA
- To communicate important account or service updates
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Photos & Camera
You may upload wardrobe photos or take pictures with your device camera. Photos you add are stored securely and processed to help categorize items and power outfit suggestions. We do not use your photos for advertising.
4. Location
Location is optional. If you choose to add a city or use device location, we use it to show local weather for outfit suggestions. We only save location when you confirm it in the app.
5. Push Notifications
With your permission, YARA may send optional push notifications such as daily outfit reminders or helpful wardrobe tips. You can turn notifications on or off at any time in Settings.
6. Data Protection
We use secure systems to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. Information may be shared with trusted service providers only as needed to run YARA. They are required to protect your information and use it only to provide the service.
8. Data Retention
We keep your information while your account is active so YARA can work for you. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data and wardrobe content from our systems. Some non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained to help us understand overall product trends.
9. Cookies & analytics
Our website and app may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, measure how the service is used, and improve your experience.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect sign-in or some features.
10. Your Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. You may delete your account from Settings in the app.
11. Updates
This policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. If we make important changes, we may also notify you in the app or by email.
